Eucharistic Preachers
Proclaiming the Eucharistic Mission of Jesus Christ
The National Eucharistic Preachers are a diverse group of priests who have been commissioned to enkindle the flame of Eucharistic faith and devotion in the United States through kerygmatic Eucharistic preaching as part of the National Eucharistic Revival.
What is Kerygmatic Eucharistic preaching?
- Kerygmatic preaching is Eucharistic preaching
- From apostolic times, the Eucharist has been the constant source of kerygmatic proclamation, predating even the New Testament.
- Preaching always flows from and returns to the Eucharist.
- Passionate preaching has been at the heart of every great revival in Church History
The National Eucharistic Preachers are being offered to dioceses around the country at no cost. They will be available to preach during the Diocesan Year at
various events, including
- Gatherings for diocesan and parish leaders
- Special diocesan Masses and Eucharistic Holy Hours
- Diocesan youth and young adult events
- Clergy convocations and retreats
- Diocesan Eucharistic assemblies and congresses
